1. Purpose

Our academy is committed to providing a structured, safe, and consistent training environment. To maintain the integrity of our GFTeam lineage and ensure our students’ progression follows our established curriculum, we have implemented the following guidelines regarding guest instructors and visiting black belts.

2. Seminar & Guest Instruction Requests

To protect our academy’s training schedule and our members' financial commitments, we do not host "pop-up" or unscheduled seminars.

Eligibility: Only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts within the GFTeam affiliation are eligible to lead instructional sessions or seminars.

Advanced Booking: All seminars must be curated and approved by Head Instructor Pedro Garcia at least six months in advance.

No Solicitation: We do not accept unsolicited seminar requests from instructors traveling through the area or competing nearby.

3. Visiting Black Belts (Training Only)

We welcome our GFTeam brothers and sisters from around the world to join us on the mats for regular training.

Affiliated Black Belts: The standard drop-in fee is waived for your first visit. Subsequent visits are subject to standard mat fees.

Non-Affiliated Black Belts: You are welcome to train! Standard drop-in fees apply, and we ask that you contact us 24 hours in advance.

Role on the Mat: Visiting black belts are invited to participate as students. Teaching, correcting students during drilling, or "holding court" is reserved for our designated academy instructors to ensure technical consistency.

4. Conduct & Logistics

Etiquette: All visitors must adhere to academy-specific etiquette (e.g., bowing in, gi color requirements) and maintain the highest standards of hygiene.

Insurance: All visitors must sign a liability waiver prior to stepping on the mat—no exceptions.
